Institute Of Career Development

We are located on the second floor of Panchani Chamber, which is room number 6. It’s right on Drive In Road in Thaltej. If you know where Asia School is, we are directly opposite it. The building is a typical commercial complex with a few different offices sharing the space. We are the Institute of Career Development, so we get a lot of people coming in to talk about their future plans and jobs. The office isn't very large, but it’s enough for a few desks and a place for students to sit while they wait. We spend a lot of time looking over resumes and talking to people about what they want to do for work. The second floor gets some good light, but you can definitely hear the cars on Drive In Road all day long. It’s a very busy part of Thaltej. We keep the place tidy, though there are always stacks of brochures and forms everywhere on the tables. The staff here is pretty small, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phone to cleaning up the small pantry. We don’t have a corporate feel at all; it’s more like a local service where people can just drop in and ask questions. We are usually here from morning until evening, trying to help folks figure out their next steps. It’s simple work, but it keeps us busy. Most of our day is spent chatting.
