Our office is located at 2, Gayatri Bunglows, which is right near the Shilp Villa Flats in the Ghatlodia area of Ahmedabad. It’s an interesting spot for an insurance office because it’s tucked into a residential neighborhood. You won't find us in one of those huge glass towers downtown. Instead, we’re in a building that looks a lot like the houses around it. Working for Icici Prudential here means we see a lot of local families walking by. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of filing cabinets filled with policies and claims. Ghatlodia is a busy part of Ahmedabad, so there’s always something going on outside our doors. We spend a lot of our time explaining things to people who come in feeling a bit confused about their paperwork. It’s not always exciting work, but it’s important to the people who live around here. We have a small team, and we’ve all gotten pretty used to the quirks of the building. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles when the Gujarat summer really kicks in, but we manage to stay focused. We don’t use a lot of big words or try to act like we’re more important than we are. We’re just here to help people sort out their insurance stuff and make sure their records are in order before they head back home. It's a busy life, but it's what we do.
