H. B. Industries

H. B. Industries is located at A/4, Jignesh Park, right behind the Uco Bank Flats in Ambawadi. It’s a bit of a funny spot because it feels like a residential neighborhood, but we’ve got our small industrial setup running right here. Most people use the bank as a landmark to find us. We started small and stayed that way, mostly because we like being able to keep an eye on everything ourselves. The workshop isn't huge, so we have to stay organized or we’d run out of floor space in a day. We make various industrial parts, and there is always the sound of metal hitting metal coming from our unit. The neighbors are used to us by now. We don't have a big staff, just a few reliable guys who have been with us for years. They know the machines inside and out. Sometimes we sit on the plastic chairs outside during the break to get some air. The monsoon season is always a bit of a headache because the rain makes the alley muddy, but we manage to get the trucks in and out somehow. We don't go in for fancy advertising or big presentations. If someone needs something made, they usually just come by or call the landline. It’s a simple way of working, but it has kept us going at this Ambawadi address for as long as I can remember.
