Gmsc is located right on Relief Road in Ahmedabad. If you know Ahmedabad, you know Relief Road is one of the busiest and oldest parts of the city. It’s always crowded with people and traffic. Our office is right in the thick of it. It’s a loud area, but we’ve gotten used to the noise of the horns and the people outside. We aren't a fancy new startup with bean bags and free snacks. We are a traditional business working out of an older building. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the stairs are a bit narrow. But it’s a good place to be because everything is close by. We’ve been here for a long time. People know us in this neighborhood. We don't have a big HR department or corporate policies. We just have a small team that knows how to work together. Most of us live nearby and walk or take an auto to get here. The summers are tough because it gets so hot on Relief Road, but we have our coolers running. We don't spend money on flashy things. We just focus on getting the work finished. It’s a very straightforward way of doing business. We open up early and stay until the work is done. It’s just how things are at Gmsc in the heart of Gujarat.
