Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Limited is out at No J/7-8 in the Tirupati Estate. We are situated right along the Aslali Bypass Road. If you know the area, you know it is mostly about logistics and warehouses. The bypass road is always humming with the sound of heavy trucks carrying goods across the state. It is a dusty part of town, especially when the wind picks up, but it is the right place for what we do. The estate is quite large, and it can be a bit confusing to find the right unit if you are visiting for the first time. We spend most of our day managing stock and making sure things are ready for transport. The office part of the unit is small and tucked away from the main storage area. We don't have much in the way of air conditioning in the main warehouse, so it stays pretty warm. It’s a practical environment. We don't worry about being polished or looking like a big corporate headquarters. We are just a bunch of people working near the bypass to keep things moving. Lunch is usually brought from home and eaten at our desks while we chat about things. When the sun starts to go down, the traffic on the bypass road gets even heavier, and that is usually when we start wrapping things up for the day. It’s a long day, but the work is steady and keeps us busy.
