We’ve been set up here in Village Rajoda for a while now, right across from Gallops Industrial Park on the Sarkhej-Bavla Road. It’s a busy spot, mostly industrial, and you can usually hear the sound of the machines from the road. Most of the folks working here at Gardner Denver Engineered Products India Pvt.Ltd. have been with us for years. We spend our days dealing with various engineered parts and technical stuff that goes into bigger systems. It’s not fancy work, but it needs to be done right. The workshop floor gets a bit dusty in the summer, but that’s just how it is around Block No.878. We start early in the morning when the tea stalls outside the industrial park are just opening up. Most of the crew lives nearby, so we know each other's families and what’s going on in the village. It’s a practical environment. We have our tools, our benches, and a lot of metal components lying around waiting for assembly or shipping. Sometimes the trucks get backed up on the road, which makes deliveries a bit of a headache, but we manage. We aren’t big on long meetings or corporate talk. Usually, if something needs fixing or putting together, we just head out to the floor and handle it. It’s quiet in the office part, but the real activity is where the grease and the metal meet. We just keep our heads down and get through the orders as they come in.
