Ganpat University

This office for Ganpat University is located at 19, Umiya Park Society. It is over near Akhabar Nagar in the Nava-Vadaj area of Ahmedabad. It is more of a community-based spot rather than a big sprawling campus with thousands of students that you might expect when you hear the word university. We are tucked inside the society, so it is actually quite a peaceful place to work most of the time. You have the typical sounds of a residential neighborhood, like the vegetable sellers going by with their carts or kids playing in the lane when school is out. We use this space for a lot of the local coordination and helping people who have questions about their paperwork. It is a plain building, nothing too modern on the outside, but it is sturdy and dependable. Inside, we have got some wooden benches and a few older computers that get the job done. The walls have some charts and schedules pinned up so we can keep track of everything. Navigating through Nava-Vadaj can be a bit tricky if you are not from this side of the city, especially with the turn near Akhabar Nagar, but once you find Umiya Park, it is easy. We are not here to impress anyone with glass walls or leather chairs. It is just a place where students and parents can come and talk to us. We drink a lot of tea and handle the forms.
