Ganesh Steel Corporation

We are located at Plot No. 70 in the Shubh Estate area of Kathwada. Being in an industrial estate means things are always moving. There are always trucks backing up or forklifts driving around the neighborhood. Ganesh Steel Corporation is basically a large warehouse with a tiny corner partitioned off for the desk and the phone. It gets pretty dusty in here, and the metal roof makes a lot of noise when it rains, but it’s a good place to work. We spend most of our hours checking the weight of the steel and making sure the counts are right before anything goes out the gate. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear your best clothes. Everything is covered in a bit of oil or rust, which is just part of the job. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters. We just answer the phone, give people a price, and load the trucks. Sometimes we stay late when a big order comes in last minute, and other times we close up early if it’s a holiday. The Shubh Estate is a busy community and we know most of the other shop owners around here. We just stick to what we know, which is moving steel from one place to another without making a mess of the orders. It’s honest work and it keeps the lights on.
