G. K. Steels

Started at Samudra on C. G. Road. Navrangpura is busy. Near Klassic Gold Hotel. It’s a good spot. People come for steel. Mostly local guys. Sometimes it gets loud. We sit in Plot No A-205. The office is okay. We’ve been here a while. Ahmedabad gets hot in the summer. You just get used to it. Dealing with steel takes time. It’s heavy stuff. We don't have fancy chairs or anything. Just the basics. Most of our day is on the phone or checking deliveries. Finding us isn't hard if you know the hotel. The building is older but it works. It's just a regular business day for us. We handle what comes in. Sometimes the traffic on C. G. Road makes people late. We don't mind much. You just wait a bit. We keep things simple here at G. K. Steels. No big speeches. Just steel and orders. The tea stall nearby is where we usually take breaks. It’s a bit dusty with all the construction around Navrangpura lately. But that's just how it is. We stay busy with the work at hand. Most clients are people we’ve known for years. They just drop by or call. We track everything in our books. It's a steady life here. We just keep the gates open and get on with it. Nothing more to say really. Just a steel place in a busy part of town. We see the same delivery trucks every morning. It's a rhythm we've gotten used to over the years. We wouldn't want to be anywhere else besides this plot.
