Fortuna Engineering Industries

Fortuna Engineering Industries is located at 701, Shakuntal Apt. This is in Ambawadi, right opposite the C.N. Vidhyalaya school. Being on the seventh floor gives us a bit of a view of the trees in the neighborhood. The office is basically an apartment that we have turned into a workspace. It feels more like a home than a factory. We have tables set up for drawing and computers for the engineering work. Because the school is across the street, it gets very noisy when the classes are over and all the kids come out. We usually time our breaks for when it is quieter. The building is a bit older and the elevator makes a rattling sound sometimes. We have lived and worked in this area for a long time. People know us in the building and we chat with the neighbors in the lobby. Inside, it is a bit cluttered with blueprints and old samples of parts. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If the bell rings, whoever is closest to the door opens it. It is a relaxed atmosphere but we stay busy with the technical side of things. We usually have a lot of tea and discuss the designs while sitting on the old sofa in the corner.
