Sarjan Tools

The shop for Sarjan Tools is over in Bharvi Tower, number 12. It’s right across from Sharda School, so we hear the bell ring every day and see the kids walking home in groups. We’re located close to the NH 8 at CTM in Amraiwadi. Being near the highway is really handy for getting stuff in and out, but the noise from the trucks can be a lot to deal with sometimes. We deal with tools. Nothing too complicated, just the standard things people in the trade need for their daily jobs. The space isn't huge, so we have to keep things organized or you can't find a wrench when you really need one. I started this place because I worked for a bigger company and wanted to do things my own way without all the meetings and paperwork. It’s mostly just me and a couple of helpers working the floor. We drink a lot of tea while we look at the daily orders. Some days are slow and we just clean up the shelves, but other days everyone wants something at the same time. The humidity in Amraiwadi gets to the metal if we aren't careful, so we keep everything wiped down with a bit of oil. We don't have a shiny website or anything like that. If you need a tool, you just come by and see what’s on the shelf. It’s a straightforward business. We know our neighbors and they know us. That’s how we like to keep it.
