Charun Instruments

Our place is at 29, Gajanan Industrial Park, which is part of the Ambica Tube Mill Compound. We are located near the Vatva Railway Station, so we hear the trains go by quite often throughout the day. The industrial park is always busy with trucks and people moving things around. Our unit is just a regular shed where we keep our tools and instruments. It’s not a very quiet place, especially with the tube mill nearby making noise all the time. We spend most of our hours checking parts and assembling things on our workbenches. The floor is usually a bit dusty and we have shelves full of components that we’ve collected over the years. We aren't interested in making the place look like a fancy corporate office. It’s a working space where we get things done. Most of us have been working here for a long time and we know how to handle the equipment without thinking about it too much. We don't have a big sign or a fancy entrance. People who need us usually know where to find us in the compound. It is simple, everyday work that keeps us busy from morning till evening. We just focus on the instruments and making sure everything is in the right place before we close up for the night and go home. It’s a plain and honest way to spend our time.
