We are based at A/11 in the Shantisadan Appartment in Ahmedabad. It’s right across from the Panetar Party Plot and near the Govardhan Party Plot in Thaltej. Using party plots as landmarks is just how we do things in this part of town. Since we are in an apartment building, it’s a bit different from a big industrial site. Electrotherm ( Ind. ) Ltd. fits into this space well enough. It’s a bit cozy, especially when we have all the staff in at once. We’ve turned the rooms into offices with desks and computers. The view from the window is mostly just the street and the party plots across the way. When there’s a wedding going on nearby, we can hear the music and the crowds. It makes the days a bit more interesting. We have a small pantry where we make tea and chat. The building is older, but it’s kept up okay. We don't have a big lobby or a receptionist. You just come up and knock. It’s a very informal way of working, which we prefer. Most of us live in Ahmedabad, so the commute to Thaltej isn't too bad. We have piles of paperwork and some technical gear scattered around. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to stay organized. We focus on our tasks and try to be out by evening. It's a simple setup for a busy group of people.
