Dr. Paritosh Shah

The clinic for Dr. Paritosh Shah is located on the second floor of the Alka Shopping Centre. We are right on Gitamandir Road in Ahmedabad, zip code 380028. Being in a shopping centre means there is always something going on downstairs, but up here it’s usually a bit calmer. It’s a standard medical setup with a waiting area and a couple of rooms for checkups. We see all kinds of people every day, some with just a cough and others with more serious things on their minds. The walls are a bit plain, maybe with a few old posters about health, but it’s clean and does the job. We don't have a big staff, just the doctor and a couple of us helping out with the appointments and the files. Gitamandir Road can be very noisy with all the rickshaws and buses, so we keep the windows shut most of the time. Sometimes the wait gets a bit long if a case is complicated, but people are generally patient. We keep a ledger of everyone who comes in and try to stay on top of the paperwork. It’s not a fancy hospital, just a local doctor’s office where we try to help out the neighbors. We’ve been at this C/1 location for quite a few years now. Most of the regulars know exactly where to find us without even looking at the sign. We just keep the door open and wait for the next person to come in.
