Doon International Public School

We are located inside the Jaihind School Campus, right near the Jaihind School Cross Roads. If you’re familiar with Maninagar, you know Jawahar Chowk is always buzzing, and we’re just a stone's throw from there. It can get pretty noisy with the traffic outside, but once you’re inside the gates, it settles down a little. We share the space, so things can get a bit crowded when the bells ring and everyone spills out at once. It’s not a perfect setup, but it’s home for us. The classrooms have seen a lot of students over the years. We don't spend much on flashy decorations. We'd rather just keep the lights on and the benches sturdy. The teachers here are mostly locals who’ve lived in this part of Ahmedabad forever. We walk to work or take the bus. It’s a practical kind of place. We don't promise anyone the world, we just try to get the kids to learn their math and science without too much fuss. Every morning starts the same way with the assembly and then the rush to the rooms. It's just honest work. We see the same faces every day and that’s how we like it. Just a regular school doing its thing in a busy corner of the city. We have some plants in pots near the entrance, but they don't always get watered enough. It’s just life, really, trying to keep everything moving.
