Dhruv Counseling Service is located at number 18 in the Christian Society of Maninagar. It’s a quiet corner of Ahmedabad, which is good for the kind of work we do. The building is older, but it’s sturdy and has a bit of character to it. We don't have a receptionist in a suit or a fancy waiting room with expensive art. It’s just a few rooms with comfortable chairs. We spend a lot of time listening to people here. It's a job that keeps us grounded. Maninagar is a well-known neighborhood, and being in the Christian Society makes it easy for locals to find us. We aren't a big chain or anything. It's just us. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing outside, and you can hear them through the windows. It adds a bit of life to the place. We try to keep things calm inside. There isn't much to the about us other than we show up every morning and open the doors. We’ve been in this spot for quite a while now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. We focus more on the conversations we have than the decor. It’s a simple setup for simple work. If you walk down the lane in Maninagar, you’ll see our small sign. That’s us.
