Devashya Medicines

Our shop is number five in the Chabda Building. It’s right there by the Ambawadi Cross Road. If you know where the Havmore is, you can’t miss us. It’s a pretty busy spot with people coming and going. There’s always someone walking by or cars honking at the intersection outside. The building is a bit older, but it holds up well enough for us. We spend most of our time behind the counter or back in the storeroom area. Dealing with medicines means a lot of checking dates and keeping things on the right shelves so we don't lose track. It can get a bit cramped when a big shipment arrives on a Tuesday. We usually have the radio playing low in the background. It helps pass the time when the shop is quiet. The floor is tile and we have to sweep it twice a day because of the dust from the street. Being near the cross road is good for people finding us, though parking is usually a bit of a headache for everyone. We know the regulars who stop in for their usual stuff. Most of the staff has been here for years now. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in town. We just want to make sure the inventory is right and the shop stays open on time. Sometimes we sit out front for a minute if the weather is nice. It’s just a normal shop. Nothing special to look at, but we’re here every day doing the work.
