Devang Fabrication

Devang Fabrication is out at 267 Shubh Estate on the Kathwada-Singarwa Road. If you know the Kathwada area, you know it’s mostly industrial, with a lot of sheds and workshops lined up one after another. Our place is one of those spots where there’s always the sound of metal hitting metal or the hum of a welding machine. We deal with all sorts of iron and steel work, making things like window grills, gates, or simple frames for people. The road outside, Kathwada-Singarwa Road, is constantly filled with trucks and workers moving back and forth. It’s a dusty environment, and the heat from the welding makes the shop pretty warm, especially in the middle of the afternoon. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything. It’s just a workshop with tools scattered on the benches and raw metal stacked against the walls. We take the measurements, cut the pieces, and join them together. It’s manual labor and it can be tiring on the back and the eyes, but it’s what we know how to do. Most of our work comes from people who just need something sturdy built for their home or factory. We don't use any complicated systems, just some chalk for marking and a steady hand for the torch. It’s a straightforward fabrication shop in a hardworking part of town. We just get on with the jobs as they come.
