We’ve been at Plot No 19 in the NK-2 Industrial Park for some time now. It’s out on the road between Bakrol and Dhamatwan, which is a bit of a trek if you're coming from the main city. If you know the area, it’s actually pretty quiet around Village Bakrol until the morning shifts start changing and the buses arrive. We work with plastics mostly, just regular shop stuff that needs doing every day. The road can get really dusty during the summer months when the wind picks up, but that's just how it is out here in the industrial belt. Sometimes people miss our turnoff because the sign isn't the biggest or brightest thing in the world, so we have to give directions over the phone quite a bit. Inside the building, things stay pretty busy from Monday to Saturday. We have a few machines running most of the day and it gets a bit warm. It’s not a fancy place with glass walls or anything, just a solid workspace where we get things done. We see the same faces every morning, mostly guys from the nearby villages who walk or bike in for their shifts. The industrial park has changed a bit over the years with more buildings going up nearby. But we're still right here on the same plot. Sometimes the power flickers when the monsoon weather gets rough, but we just wait it out and get back to it once things settle. It’s a lot of routine, really.
