Akik Dye Chem

We’ve been here at Akik Dye Chem for a long time now. Our place is tucked away behind JK Barrel, not far from the Chandola Police Choki in the Danilimda area. It’s an industrial spot, so things can get a bit dusty and loud during the day, but that’s just how it is when you’re working with dyes and chemicals. Most of our mornings start with checking the stock and seeing what the orders look like. We don’t have fancy offices or anything like that. It’s mostly just us getting the work done on the floor. People find us by looking for the police station first since it's a big landmark around here. The chemical business isn't always easy, and the weather in Gujarat makes some days pretty hot inside the shed. We handle a lot of different colors and powders. It gets messy sometimes, especially when we are mixing things up or packing for a big delivery. My hands are usually stained by lunch, but we don’t mind the hard work. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the batches are right before they go out. There’s always trucks coming and going in this part of town. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, but we’re still right here in the same spot doing what we know. It’s a simple setup we have, and we like it that way because it works for us and the people who buy from us.
