We are located over at Oxford Tower on Gurukul Road. Memnagar is a really active part of Ahmedabad, so there’s always something happening right outside our door. Being on the 16th floor gives us a bit of a view of the city, though we’re usually far too busy with the computers to spend much time looking out the windows. The elevators in this building can be a bit slow during the morning rush and lunch, so we’ve learned to time our arrivals and departures. Inside the office, it’s mostly just the sound of people typing and the hum of the servers in the corner. It’s an IT setup, so there are wires everywhere and monitors on every single desk. We don’t have much in the way of decoration, maybe just a few old plants that someone forgets to water half the time. It’s not the kind of place with a lounge or a fancy coffee machine. We just make our own tea in the little corner we’ve got set aside. The work can be repetitive, looking at code or fixing server bugs all day, but it’s what we do. Sometimes we end up staying late when a project is giving us trouble. Gurukul Road has plenty of food places, so we never go hungry. The office feels lived-in, with stacks of old hardware and notebooks scattered around. We just focus on the tech stuff and try to keep it all running for whoever needs it.
