Creative Carbon Industries

Our place is over at unit 43 in the Narayan Industrial Estate. We are right beside Vikram Mills and across from Raipur Mills in Saraspur. This whole area is full of old factories and smoke. It is an industrial zone, so it’s not the cleanest place to work, but it suits what we do. We work with carbon here. It’s a messy business and everything ends up turning a bit grey or black by the end of the day. The machines are old but they still run okay if we take care of them. We spend most of our time out on the floor making sure the production is going right. It gets very hot in the summer because of the roof and all the machinery running at once. We usually have a break under the tree near the gate when it gets too much. Saraspur is a tough part of town but people here work hard. We have some guys who have been with us for a decade or more. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. If you come to see us, you’ll probably find us covered in soot near the back. We just focus on getting the carbon processed and packed into bags for the trucks. There’s always a lot of shouting to be heard over the noise of the mills nearby. It’s just how the workday goes for us in this estate.
