Bansal Roofing Products Ltd is situated at 3/2, Labdhi Ind. Estate in the Acid Mill Compound at Pratanpnagar. The estate is always buzzing with activity and noise. We handle roofing materials, so you can imagine there’s a lot of heavy lifting involved in the daily routine. We move big sheets of metal and other materials around the warehouse. It’s physical work. Most of us wear heavy boots and gloves because things can be sharp and heavy. The morning usually starts with a list of what needs to be loaded onto the trucks for delivery. We have a small office area, but most of the action happens in the back warehouse. It gets quite hot under the warehouse roof during the afternoon hours. We usually take a short break together and chat about the news or what we're doing over the weekend. We have been in Pratanpnagar for a good amount of time now. The neighbors in the compound are mostly other industrial businesses and we all kind of know each other. It’s a straightforward business. We provide roofing and that’s pretty much it. There’s no need to make it sound more complicated than it is. We just try to make sure we have enough stock and that the orders are correct before they leave the gate. It is just about being steady and getting the product out to whoever needs it. That is what keeps us busy all week.
