CIRCUIT PRINTER

We are tucked away in Tirupati Estate at Plot No. C-/63. It is in Bapunagar, and the easiest way to tell people where we are is to say we are behind Amber Cinema. You can often hear the muffled sounds from the movies if you are standing in the right spot outside. The shop is filled with the smell of ink and the hum of the printers running. It is a steady sound that becomes like background music after a while. We do a lot of printing here, mostly focusing on circuits and technical stuff that requires a lot of attention to detail. If you look at the floor, you will see marks where machines have been moved over the years. We have been in Bapunagar for a good while, and we have seen the cinema change owners and the estate get more crowded. Our desks are usually covered in proofs and technical drawings that we are checking over. It is a small team, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from loading the machines to answering the phone when it rings. We do not have a marketing department or anything like that; we just do the work and hope the quality speaks for itself when the customer picks up their order. Sometimes the power goes out and everything stops, which is frustrating, but we just take that time to clean up the workspace or have a quick snack.
