Cipla

We are over at Gaurav Tower, right across from Prabhat Chowk in Ghatlodiya. Cipla has been in this spot for a while, and if you know Rannapark, you know it’s a very crowded area. Our office is in C/404. It’s a busy building with a lot of other businesses, so the stairs and the lifts are always full. We handle a lot of the local distribution and paperwork for medicines here. There are always boxes coming in and out, and we spend a good part of the day checking invoices and making sure the inventory matches up. The view from the window is just the busy street and all the shops at Prabhat Chowk. It gets really loud during the festival seasons, but we just close the windows and keep going. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just a workspace where we get things done. Most of us live nearby, so we walk or take a quick rickshaw ride to get here every morning. We have a small corner for tea and snacks, which is where we usually talk about how the day is going. It’s not a polished corporate environment. We have stacks of files and sometimes the desks get a bit messy when we are busy. We just try to make sure all the orders are correct and that everything gets to where it needs to go on time.
