Cipl

We are over at the Aswathi Apartments in Gandhinagar, Adyar. It’s Apartment B3 on the second Crescent Park Road. Cipl has been tucked away in this residential corner for a while. Adyar is a nice part of Chennai, lots of trees and it’s usually a bit calmer than the city center. Our office is basically an apartment that we converted. It still has that homey feel to it. You have to buzz the intercom to get in. We don't have many walk-ins because we are on the second floor. Most of our work is done over the phone or through emails. We have a small team. Everyone has their own desk in what used to be the living room and bedrooms. It's a bit tight sometimes when we have a lot of files, but we make it work. We don't go for those modern office designs. We just have old wooden tables and some fans that hum all day. The balcony gives us a bit of fresh air when we take breaks. We usually get our lunch from the mess nearby. It’s not a fancy corporate setup. We are just people working a job. We've been in Chennai long enough to know the rhythms of the city. We avoid the main roads during peak hours and just focus on getting our tasks done. It’s a quiet spot for a quiet business. We just take it one day at a time here.
