Celestis Pharma

Celestis Pharma is based out in Sangoda, which is on the outskirts of Ahmedabad. It is a bit of a journey to get here if you are coming from the main city center, but we like that it is a bit more relaxed than the downtown areas. Sangoda still has a bit of a rural feel to it in certain parts, though more businesses are moving in every year. Our facility is where we manage our stocks and handle the logistics of getting products out to where they need to go. Ahmedabad heat can be really tough, especially in a place like this where there isn't as much shade as you might find in the older parts of town. We spend a lot of time checking temperatures and making sure the storage conditions are right for the medicines. It is a lot of repetitive work, like scanning labels and updating the inventory lists on the computer. We have a small team here, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from answering the door to moving boxes around. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, which is just part of living in this area. It is a quiet existence for the most part, just focusing on the daily shipments and making sure nothing gets lost in the shuffle. We usually head home before the sun goes down to avoid the worst of the commute.
