Career Horizon

Our office is in A 502 Maharaja Complex, right in the Jodhpur Gam area of Satellite in Ahmedabad. It is on the fifth floor, so you get a bit of a view of the surrounding buildings if you look out the side window. Career Horizon has been operating from this complex for quite some time. The area is usually pretty crowded with people going to the shops nearby, so there is always a lot of noise from the street. We have a few rooms here where we sit and talk to people about their futures. It’s not a polished corporate space; we have mismatched chairs and a printer that sometimes needs a good slap to start working. We handle a lot of career-related stuff, mostly just sorting through options and showing people what is available. The heat in Ahmedabad can be something else, so the AC in the office is usually running full blast during the day. We don’t have a receptionist or anything like that. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just lets people in when they knock. We like the Maharaja Complex because it is central and easy for most people to get to by bus or rickshaw. It feels like a real part of the neighborhood, not some isolated office park. We just focus on getting through the daily tasks and helping whoever walks through the door.
