Career Horizon Recruitment Specialist

Our place is R-12 in Sharanam-7, right across from the Chandan Party Plot in the Jodhpur-Satellite area. Most people in Ahmedabad know the party plot, so it’s easy to give directions. We call ourselves Career Horizon Recruitment Specialist. It sounds formal, but we’re actually quite relaxed in the office. We help people find jobs, mostly in the private sector. The office is tucked away in the society, so it’s relatively quiet. We have a lot of files and a couple of computers that have seen better days. We spend a lot of time talking to people who are looking for a change in their lives. It’s a lot of listening. We don’t have any secret tricks. We just look at what a person can do and see if any companies we know need that. Some days we have good news to give, and some days we don’t. We try to be direct. No one likes being led on. The neighborhood is nice, and there are good spots to grab lunch nearby. We’ve been at this for a while now. We aren't a big agency with hundreds of employees. It’s just us here. We keep it simple and try to do right by the people who trust us with their resumes. It’s a lot of pressure sometimes, but we just take it one day at a time and see how it goes.
