Calico Metals

We are located over at Calico Metals in the Rakhial area. To find us, you have to go to Africawala Estate, specifically at No.1/B/1. It’s right across from Commet House on Keval Kanta Road. This part of town is very industrial, so there is always the sound of trucks and machinery in the background. Our workshop is a bit messy, with metal scraps and tools lying around on the floor. It’s a busy place and we don’t have much time for keeping things perfectly tidy. The office is just a small corner where we handle the orders and talk to people. It gets pretty hot during the summer months, and the fans never seem to be enough. We’ve been here for quite some time now and know the other business owners in the estate. The road outside can get very dusty, especially when the big lorries pass by. We just focus on our work and try to get things done on time. It's a straightforward setup. We don't have any fancy signs or a big reception area. Most of the time, someone is working in the back and has to come out when they hear the door. We handle all sorts of metal work here. It's a gritty, practical environment. We like being in Rakhial because it's where all the action is for our kind of trade. We eat our lunch together in the small break area. It’s just how we run things day to day. We don't try to be something we are not.
