Our place for Cadila Phrmaceuticals Ltd is out in Aslali, which is a bit of a trek from the main part of Ahmedabad. We are set up at Postaslali, specifically at 114 8 Bhag in the Tadaskroi district. It is a very industrial area, so there is always a lot of dust and trucks moving around on the roads. Having our office here makes sense because we need the space for all the logistics work we do. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find fancy cafes or anything. The office itself is very basic with just the essential furniture and a lot of registers to keep everything in order. It gets pretty loud with the heavy vehicles passing by, but we have all gotten used to the noise by now. We aren't worried about making the place look polished for visitors. We just focus on getting the medicines moved from the trucks to the warehouse and back out again without making any mistakes. Most of the people working here are from the local villages in the district, so they know the area better than anyone. During the rainy season, the roads around Tadaskroi can get a bit difficult to navigate, but we always find a way to get the work finished. We don’t have any marketing talk to give anyone. We just manage the stock and make sure the files are updated before we head home for the day.
