Working out of Ira House near C. G. Road is definitely different than being out in the industrial zones. Navrangpura is always crowded, especially around here. Cadila Pharmaceuticals Ltd. has this office set up and it’s basically where all the coordination happens. There are phones ringing constantly and people running around with files. It gets pretty loud when the traffic outside peaks. You can find us here most days, just trying to keep the accounts and the orders straight. It isn't some fancy glass tower, just a regular building where we spend our nine-to-five. Parking is a nightmare if you don't get in early, so most of us have our little spots picked out blocks away. We’ve got a small kitchen area where the coffee is usually burnt, but we drink it anyway because the work doesn't stop. It’s mostly administrative stuff going on in this branch. We talk to the suppliers and deal with the people who need things shipped out. The walls are covered in calendars and old notices that nobody ever takes down. Sometimes we go out for a quick lunch near C. G. Road if we have the time, but usually, it’s just sandwiches at the desk. We’ve been at this address for a good bit now, and we’re just part of the neighborhood routine. It's just a normal workplace with normal people trying to stay organized and get through the pile of paperwork on our desks every afternoon.
