The main office is located out on the Cadila Corporate Campus along the Sarkhej Dholka Highway, right near Bhat Village. It’s a bit of a drive from the city center, and the highway can get pretty packed with trucks and commuters during the rush hours. The campus itself is quite large, and it feels a bit different from the usual cramped industrial plots because there is a bit more space around the buildings. Most of us spend our days in the labs or the office blocks dealing with the various stages of making medicine. It is a lot of serious work, and there are plenty of rules to follow about what you can wear and where you can go in the production areas. We have people from all over coming here to work, so the canteen is usually a mix of different languages and smells of different foods at lunchtime. The weather out here in Bhat can get really dry, and you can see the open fields just beyond the campus walls. It’s a big operation, but at the end of the day, it’s just a bunch of people trying to keep the production lines moving and the quality checks on track. We have a lot of long corridors and even more paperwork to fill out every single day. It isn't a fast-paced or exciting life, but it’s steady and there is always something that needs fixing or checking.
