We started C N B Cakes In Bakes Llp at Goyal Towers in Gulbai Tekra. It’s right near Jhanvi Restaurant and the police chowky. People usually find us when they are out getting dinner nearby or just walking through the neighborhood. It gets busy in the evenings and the street outside can be quite loud. We just bake stuff here. It’s a small place, nothing too fancy to look at. The oven runs most of the day and it gets pretty warm inside. Sometimes we run out of specific items earlier than we expected. That just happens when you’re small. We’ve been here a while now and we know the area well. The building itself is just a regular tower block. I spend a lot of my time cleaning the counters or checking the inventory. My cousin helps out when he can, especially on the weekends. We try to keep things fresh every day. If you live around Gulbai Tekra, you've probably walked past our door without thinking much of it. We don't have a massive sign or anything like that. It's just a regular shop where we do our work. Sometimes the traffic outside the police chowky gets backed up and we just watch it from the window. It's hard work but it's what we know. We have some regulars who come in every morning for their usual order. It’s nice to see those same faces every day. We make cakes and some bread things.
