Brahmani Steel Furniture Works (Dudheshwar)

Our workshop is at unit 11 in Simandhar Estate. We are over in Dudheshwar, right across from the old Rustom Mills. It’s an industrial sort of area, and we fit right in. We spend our days working with steel to make various types of furniture. You can usually hear the sound of tools and metal from down the road. It’s not a quiet place, but we like the work. The estate is also near Kalpnabhoomi Estate, so there’s always trucks and workers moving around. We make stuff that is meant to last, not just look pretty for a few months. Steel is what we know. Our space is full of raw materials and finished pieces waiting to go out. We don’t have a polished front office or anyone to greet you at the door with a smile. It’s just us in our work clothes getting things done. Some of the pieces are heavy and take a few of us to move. We’ve been in Dudheshwar for years and have seen the mills change, but we keep doing our thing. It’s honest labor. People come to us when they want something that won't break easily. We just focus on the metal and the orders we have. It’s a plain and simple workshop for practical people. We stay busy with the fabrication and don't spend much time on anything else.
