Bin Swar Co.

Our small company, Bin Swar Co., is based in the Shrikunj Flats, specifically number 55, right across from Gyanjyot School in the Rannapark area of Ahmedabad. Being near a school means it gets quite noisy in the afternoons when the bells ring, but we’ve gotten used to the sound of kids playing outside. It's a simple flat that we use as our office. We have some tables pushed together and some shelves for our supplies. We’ve been running things from here for a while now. Most of our work is pretty routine. We handle orders, talk to suppliers, and make sure things get sent out where they’re supposed to go. We aren’t a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a handful of us. Sometimes we have a bit of a mess with boxes stacked up in the hallway, but we clear it out eventually when we have a spare moment. We like being in this part of Ahmedabad because it feels like a real neighborhood. We know the guy at the corner store and the people in the other flats who pass by. We don’t have a fancy website or a lot of marketing materials. We just rely on doing our job okay and hoping people appreciate the directness. It’s a bit of a cramped space, and the air conditioning struggles sometimes in May, but we get the work done. We are just normal people working in a normal office.
