Bhagwati Pharmaceuticals. We are tucked away in the Mahashakti Industrial Estate at 6/B. You have to go behind Soniya Ceramic to find us, which can be a little confusing for people who haven't been here before. It’s a typical industrial setting with lots of small units packed together. We’ve been operating out of this space for quite some time now. The interior is mostly filled with storage racks and packing tables. We deal with various pharmaceutical products, so there’s always a lot of sorting to do. The mornings are usually the busiest when the new stock arrives and we have to find a place for everything. It’s a bit of a puzzle sometimes because the space is limited. We don't have a big fancy sign or a reception desk. You just walk in and see us working. The air in the estate is often thick with the smell of manufacturing from the nearby units. We don't mind it much. We just focus on our own work, checking the batches and getting the boxes ready for shipping. Sometimes we have a little chat with the guys from the other units during the break. It’s a very practical, no-nonsense kind of environment. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor. We just want to make sure the medicines are handled correctly and sent out to the right places. It’s a steady job and we like it that way.
