We've been at 480, GIDC Industrial Estate in Vatva for a good while now. It's busy here in Phase-II. Making glass ampoules isn't glamorous, but it's what we do every day. The machines run loud and the heat from the furnace is something you never quite get used to. Most of us have been working here for many years. We know the rhythm of the place. Sometimes the glass breaks or the orders are huge, and we just handle it without much fuss. It's a small crew mostly. We don't really do the big fancy office stuff. We're usually on the floor checking the seals or packing boxes for shipping. If you come by the GIDC, you'll see the dust and the trucks everywhere. We've seen the estate change quite a bit since we started. People come and go, but we've stayed put at this spot. It gets very hot in the afternoons, especially near the machinery. We just keep our heads down and get the ampoules ready. Nothing fancy about it. Just a regular workplace with regular people making sure things are done. It's not a big corporate setup where nobody knows your name. We know everyone's family and what's going on in their lives. That's just how it is at Avon Ampoules. We take our tea breaks together under the shade. Sometimes we stay late when a shipment needs to go out urgently. That's just life in an industrial area.
