Our place is at No. 4 Subhada Society, which sits right near Jodhpur Village on Satellite Road. It’s an interesting spot because you’ve got the busy road nearby but the society itself feels a bit more tucked away. Working out of Jodhpur Village means we see the neighborhood change throughout the day. In the morning, it’s quiet until the traffic picks up on Satellite Road. We spend a lot of our time in the office handling calls and sorting through files. It’s not one of those huge corporate buildings with a lobby and a receptionist. It’s just a functional space where we handle our daily tasks. We’ve been here long enough that we know where all the shortcuts are to avoid the worst of the afternoon heat. The space inside is mostly taken up by desks and stacks of papers that never seem to get any smaller. We usually have lunch together and talk about things other than work, which keeps us sane. Sometimes a delivery truck gets a bit stuck trying to navigate the turn into the society, but we always figure it out. It’s a humble setup without any bells or whistles. We focus on getting the day's work finished so we can get home. Most of the people around here are regulars who have seen us here for years. It’s a simple routine and it suits us.
