Aniruddha Metals

Aniruddha Metals is located right in the heart of the old city at 1943 Upli Sheri, Dhal Ni Pole, near Astodia Chakla. If you know the poles, you know how narrow the lanes are and how the buildings all lean into each other. Our workshop is right there on the ground floor, and it’s full of various metal scraps, sheets, and rods. We deal mostly with copper, brass, and stainless steel. It’s a very traditional neighborhood, and our shop has been part of it for a long time. There is always the sound of metal being moved around or the clink of a hammer against a plate. We spend a lot of our time dealing with local craftsmen and small manufacturers who need specific sizes of metal for their work. It’s not a very clean environment; there’s always metal dust and a bit of rust around. We don’t have much in the way of modern office space, just a small desk in the corner where we keep the ledger and the bills. Moving heavy loads through the narrow streets of Upli Sheri is always a challenge, especially when the markets are crowded with people and cows. We just make do with what we have and keep the business going one day at a time. It’s a lot of hard work and sweat, but that’s just how it is in this part of town and we wouldn't be anywhere else.
