Torrent Pharmaceuticals has this office just off Ashram Road. It’s a central location, which makes it easy for people to get here, even if the traffic on Ashram Road is a total nightmare during rush hour. The building itself is quite sturdy and looks like many others in this part of the city. Inside, it’s a professional setup but it doesn’t feel cold. There are people moving around with files, and the sound of keyboards clicking is constant. We have a lot of cubicles and a few private rooms for meetings. The air conditioning is usually set a bit too cold, so most of us keep a sweater at our desks. We spend a lot of time looking at data and reports on our screens. There isn't much in the way of art on the walls, mostly just calendars and some notices. The windows look out onto the side streets, where you can see the tea stalls and people walking by. It’s a busy place, and there’s always something that needs to be filed or updated. We have a small area where we can sit and eat our lunch, but people usually just eat at their desks while they work. It’s not a glamorous setup, just a place where we handle the business side of things. We focus on getting the details right because that’s the main part of the job here. Most of the staff have been here for years, so we all know each other’s habits and how things get done.
