Steel House

Steel House is located on the third floor of Mrudul Tower. We are right behind the Times of India building on Ashram Road. It’s a busy part of the city, so finding parking can be a real pain some days. Our office isn't very large. It’s mostly filled with desks, samples of different steel products, and lots of folders. We don't have a big showroom. If people want to see things, we usually just pull them out from the storage bins we keep in the back. It’s a bit cramped, and we’re always bumping into each other, but we get the work done. The view from the third floor is just other buildings, so it's not like we're looking at much. We spend most of our time on the phone or working on the computer. It’s not a glamorous job, but steel is something people always need. We’ve been in this building for quite a while now. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, and the carpet is a bit worn in the spots where we walk the most. We don't really care about that much. We just want to make sure the orders are correct and the customers are happy. It’s a simple operation run by a few of us who have known each other for years. We stay busy from morning until evening, just handling the paperwork and checking on deliveries. It is honest work and it keeps us out of trouble.
