Goldfinch Jewellery Ltd. is right in the middle of the bustle at Motilal Centre on Ashram Road. Being near Sales India means there is always a lot of movement and noise around our shop. We have been here at No. 2 for quite a while, and we’ve seen the area change a lot over the years. Gujarat is a hot place, so our air conditioner is usually working overtime to keep things comfortable for anyone who walks in. We deal with jewellery every day, but it’s more about the handwork and the fine details than anything else. We spend hours looking at small pieces and making sure everything is sitting right. Ashram Road is one of those places where you always see people rushing somewhere, but inside our shop, things are a bit slower and more focused. We don't have any fancy sales pitch or anything like that. People come in, they look at what we have, and we talk to them like normal neighbors. It’s a bit of a crowded building, and the parking at Motilal Centre can be a real headache if you arrive at the wrong time. But we like the energy of being in such a busy part of the city. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing, day in and day out, right here near the main road.
