We operate out of the Arvind Mills premises, right by the Chamunda Bridge on the Naroda Memco Road. It is a very busy area with a lot of history. Our work is mostly focused on water treatment and trying to help companies handle their waste better. It is not the kind of job where you stay clean. Often, we are out by the tanks or looking at pipes, getting our hands dirty. The office itself is tucked away inside the mill grounds. You can always hear the hum of the machinery from the other buildings nearby. We have a group of engineers and technicians who spend their time arguing over chemical levels and pump speeds. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We don't have a big marketing budget or anyone to write fancy slogans for us. We just focus on making sure the water coming out of the systems is cleaner than when it went in. Most of us have been living in Naroda for years, so this is home. The break area is just a few chairs under a fan where we eat our lunch and complain about the heat. We don't make big promises, we just show up and do the maintenance work that needs doing. It's a steady life and we’re glad to be part of the local industry here. It’s tough work but someone has to make sure the environment is looked after.
