Even though the name says Mumbai, we are actually operating out of Ahmedabad, specifically on the 8th floor of Pallvi Tower. We are right near the Memnagar Fire Station in the Navrangpura area. Being on the 8th floor gives us a bit of a view, but mostly we are just looking at our desks and computer screens. We handle import and export stuff, which means there is a lot of paperwork and phone calls throughout the day. The office is a bit cramped with files and samples of things we move around. It’s a typical Ahmedabad business environment. It gets really hot during the summer months, so the air conditioning is always struggling to keep up. We are a small team, and we’ve been in this building for quite some time. Navrangpura is a busy hub, so there’s always something happening outside, though we are high enough to avoid the worst of the street noise. Our days are filled with checking shipping schedules and talking to customs agents. We don't have a flashy showroom. It’s just a place where we get the logistical work done. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a delay with a shipment or a problem at the port. We usually eat our lunch together in the small pantry area. It’s just regular people doing a regular job, making sure goods get from one place to another without too much trouble. It can be a bit of a grind, but we get it done.
