Girnari Moulders

Girnari Moulders is based at Plot No. 5304 in the Gidc. It’s the same spot we’ve called home for years. Being in the Gidc means we are surrounded by other workshops and factories. There’s always a lot of activity on the road, with scooters and cycles weaving through the bigger trucks. Our building is a simple concrete structure. It’s not something you’d stop to take a picture of, but it serves its purpose. Inside, it’s usually quite busy. We have our equipment set up in a way that makes sense to us, even if it looks a bit messy to someone else. There’s always a bit of dust and the sound of something humming in the background. We don't put on any acts here. If you come by, you’ll see us in our work clothes, probably busy with a task. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just show up and do the work because that’s how we make our living. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot to do, and other times we leave a bit early if the heat is too much. It’s a flexible kind of life. We know the local shopkeepers and the tea seller who comes around in the afternoon. It’s a small world here at Plot 5304, and we’re happy to be a part of it.
