Our place is on the first floor of the Anil Kunj Center in Ahmedabad. We are situated quite close to the Pladi Cross, which most locals know as a busy intersection. Being on the first floor means we have to haul everything up and down the stairs. It is a lot of physical work, especially when the boxes are heavy or the weather is humid. We operate as distributors, so our day is mostly filled with checking invoices and loading up the delivery vans. The office is pretty basic. We have some old desks and a couple of computers that have seen better days. The traffic around Pladi Cross is a constant factor in our lives. If there is a jam, our whole schedule for the day gets pushed back. We do not really have a showroom or anything for the public to see. It is just a working space where we manage the logistics of moving pharmaceutical goods. We have been in this spot for a while now, and we know all the shortcuts and the delivery routes by heart. The team is small, and we all pitch in with whatever needs doing, whether it is cleaning the floor or counting the inventory. It is not a glamorous business, but it keeps us busy from the moment we open until we lock up at night. We just try to keep things moving as smoothly as the traffic allows.
