Right opposite the Ramkada Market is where we keep our shop at 1178/22. We’re near Ganchi’s Wadi in the Pankornaka area. It’s a very old part of Ahmedabad. You can feel that history when you walk around the neighborhood. We specialize in tools. The shop is usually filled with bits and pieces of metal and various equipment. Being near Ramkada Market means there’s always a crowd. There is plenty of noise too. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find a polished showroom. Instead, we have shelves stacked high. Stuff is tucked into every corner. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t need a map to find anything. It might look messy to an outsider, but we know where it all is. The area around Pankornaka is famous for these kinds of markets. We get a lot of local workers and tradespeople. They need something specific for their jobs. We don’t have a big staff. It's just a couple of us who know the inventory inside out. Sometimes we sit out front when it’s quiet. That doesn’t happen often. Most of the day is spent checking stock or helping someone find a tool they can’t get anywhere else. It’s a busy, dusty, and honest way to make a living. We wouldn't have it any other way. We just keep our heads down and do the work that comes our way every morning.
