Ambica Pharma Machine (P) Ltd

Our shop is located right at Plot No. 1 in Phase-Ii of the GIDC in Vatva. Being at the very first plot makes it easy for people to find us, though the traffic in this part of the industrial estate can be a real headache sometimes. We spend our time putting together pharma machines. There is always the sound of metal clanking or someone using a grinder somewhere in the back. It is a noisy place, but that is just how it is when you are building heavy equipment from scratch. We have a mix of old hands who have been with us since the start and some younger guys learning how the assembly works. The floor is usually covered with steel offcuts and various components waiting to be fitted into the next unit. We don’t really do fancy presentations; usually, if a customer comes by, we just show them what is currently being built on the floor. It is honest work and involves a lot of grease and measuring things twice to make sure they fit. Sometimes things don’t go perfectly on the first try, so we spend a lot of time tweaking parts until they move the way they are supposed to. Lunch breaks are usually spent sitting around the main desk talking about local news or the latest cricket score. It is a plain, hardworking environment where the goal is just to finish the machines and get them shipped out.
