Ambica Idustries

Our workshop, Ambica Industries, is at H/9 in the Shakriba Industrial Estate. We’re right near the big water tank in Phase IV of GIDC Vatva. If you see the water tank, you’re basically there. It’s a typical industrial unit with a high ceiling and a big rolling shutter at the front. We spend most of our time inside working on whatever orders came in. There’s no air conditioning, so we keep the doors open to catch whatever breeze comes through the estate. The work we do is pretty hands-on. We have some older machines that still run great because we take care of them ourselves. It’s not a quiet place, especially when the neighbors are also running their equipment. We’ve been at this location for a while and have seen the estate change a bit, but our routine stays the same. We show up, have some tea, and get to work. We don't have a website or any of that, just this physical shop where we do the actual labor. Most of our tools are well-worn and have been used for thousands of jobs. It’s a practical environment for people who don't mind getting their hands dirty and staying busy. We just focus on finishing what’s in front of us and making sure the machines are ready for the next day. It’s not always easy, but it’s what we do. We close up around sunset and do it all again tomorrow morning.
